There Are Still No Eiyuden Chronicle DLC Release Windows

As part of the Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes AMA on the Nintendo Switch subreddit, a number of questions about the DLC release windows came up. However, each time the combined response from Art Director and Producer Junichi Murakami, Director and System Designer Osamu Komuta, and the Character Designer and Studio Head Junko Kawano noted there is no schedule for them yet.

One of the first responses to someone’s question about the Eiyuden Chronicle DLC was, “Release dates for all DLC are still to be determined. Please look forward to it.” This was confirmed in a second response. However, that follow up suggested that the add-ons starring Marisa and Seign “will be a story of the “At that time, on the other hand” when the story has progressed to a certain extent, so the timing will be a little later than the release of the game itself.”

As a reminder, a number of pieces of Eiyuden Chronicle DLC were stretch goals that were hit, like Another Story: Marisa, Another Story: Seign, the Fortress Asset Pack, and a back story novel. There was also a fan vote held on DLC 3, with five possible candidates. The one that won that poll was Elden Magicks, a scenario starring the supporting characters Markus, Milana, and Quinn. There was almost a sixth one involving generals from the game too.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will come to the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Epic Games Store, GOG, and Steam on April 23, 2024.
