Yep, Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy is headed to iOS devices. There’s a listing for the game on the iTunes App Store in New Zealand, where it will be available today as a free download with paid song downloads. The rest of the world will probably see it soon, too.
Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy on iOS adds a new Quest Medley mode. In this mode, each quest is made up of a single field and battle sequence, and each time you play, you face different songs with different difficulties and rewards.
Square Enix have also added a mode that lets you compose your own music. You can compose your own scores and share them with other players, and Square say to look out for compositions from the developers, too.
As mentioned above, Theatrhythm on iOS is a free download. The base app won’t cost you anything, but you will be required to purchase songs and characters to play with.
