It looks like The Sword of Hope 2, one of Kemco’s old school Game Boy RPGs is bound for 3DS Virtual Console. The Sword of Hope II was rated by Australia’s Classification Board with Nintendo as the publisher. If you played Shadowgate or Deja Vu on the NES, The Sword of Hope games use the same interface and adds battles.

Japan already has The Sword of Hope on Virtual Console listed under title’s original name, Selection. We’re more curious about this release since it doesn’t appear The Sword of Hope II was released in Australia or other PAL territories. The Sword of Hope II won’t be the first Virtual Console import either since Japan finally got to play Kid Icarus of Myths and Monsters twenty years after it was originally released in the West.
