The next Samurai Shodown DLC character is about to arrive, and she won’t string you along. The first archer in the series is drawing her bow and aiming for a late February debut. On February 26, 2020, the Samurai Shodown Mina Majikina add-on will arrive in North America. In Europe, She’ll be on the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on February 27th and PlayStation 4 on March 2nd.
As in Samurai Shodown V, where she made her debut, Mina uses her bow for both melee and ranged attacks. If someone is close to her, she’ll hit them with her bow. Once she has some distance, she can start shooting arrows at the foe.
This Samurai Shodown Mina introductory trailer also highlights two important details about her reappearance. One is that she now has an eyepatch over her right eye. Also, Chample is still by her side as her faithful pet.
Mina is part of Samurai Shodown Season Two. This round of DLC also includes characters like Iroha and Sogetsu. She’s also one of the characters appearing on special merchandise during Gamers and SNK’s SNK Beautiful Girls Festival.
Samurai Shodown is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Stadia. It is also immediately available on the Nintendo Switch in Japan and will come to that platform in other regions on February 25, 2020.
