The Prince of Cosmos makes a cameo

Can you feel the Cosmos? Namco Bandai is throwing the tiny Prince into Dragon Tamer Sound Spirit as a guest monster. As you can see he isn’t as miniscule and he has the body of a dragon. Namco is no stranger to bringing their characters into other games, but this is the first Katamari cameo. And the first time the anything to do with the Katamari series appeared officially on a Nintendo console.

Nope, actually there are plenty of Katamari cameos as people have pointed out to me. Include one in Kaitou Rousseau and I have that! Wow, it's been so long since I've played it too. I guess since it's been in the wild for a year in Japan it's unlikely to ever get localized.
