In February 2014, MonkeyPaw Games brought the Japanese version of Tomba! 2 to the PlayStation Store. However, the localized release had emulation issues that were keeping it from originally being added to the catalog. Good news has arrived today, as over a year later MonkeyPaw Games has announced the English version of the game will be added to the PlayStation Store as a PSOne Classic.
MonkeyPaw Games also revealed that people who purchased the Japanese version of Tomba! 2 will have the translated version waiting for them to download. The official website says that qualifying owners can download the English version for free starting today.
In addition, MonkeyPaw Games is running a Tomba! 2 contest to celebrate the arrival of the game on the PlayStation Store. 100 Tomba plushies will be given away via a Twitter promotion. From November 3 until December 25, people who retweet the following message will be entered to win one of the toys. Two will be given away to randomly selected retweeters each day. Winners must have a North American mailing address to receive the toy.
Tomba 2 is finally on NA PSN in English! Retweet this for a chance to win a limited-edition Tomba plush! Details: https://t.co/WHARhSAxYb
