Insert Credit has been talking about the 20th Anniversary of the PC Engine, which passed last week. Two known events occurred… both in Japan. My best memory of the PC Engine was when I saw the TurboExpress, basically a portable TurboGrafix-16. The device was the pinnacle of handheld gaming because you could play the console games on the road… for about two hours when the batteries died.

Anyone else have fond memories of NEC’s first and last console?
