Ahead of the launch of the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC expansion, Kadokawa Game Linkage announced the release of a new Elden Ring fan book titled The Overture of Shadow of the Erdtree. The book will go on sale on June 17, 2024, and will cost 2,750 yen (or approximately $17.76).
The new Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree fan book is 80 pages long, and it is designed to introduce players to the new setting of the Land of Shadows, focusing on already available information. In addition, the book will help players get re-acclimated to the Lands Between by going through the events that took place in the main game, as well as revisiting item descriptions, character conversations, and more.
Furthermore, the Questionnaire for the Tarnished special feature will offer the answers to the questions asked during the second player survey conducted between May 3-8, 2024 on the official Famitsu website. As a special bonus, a B2-sized fabric poster will be included with the purchase of the book.

Elden Ring is readily available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and The Shadow of the Erdtree DLC expansion will appear on June 21, 2024. The Overture of Shadow Erdtree Elden Ring fan book costs 2,750 yen (~$17.76) and will be released on June 17, 2024, in Japan.
