Capcom revealed digital copies of Resident Evil 5 and 6 would be coming to the Nintendo Switch on October 29, 2019. However, buying them separately won’t be the only way to get the games. It also revealed a Resident Evil Triple Pack on Capcom Unity shortly after. Also launching on October 29, 2019, the $59.99 compilation gives people Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6. However, that doesn’t mean a physical copy of all three.

As noted on the box art, the Resident Evil Triple Pack is a situation where only one game is on the cartridge. Resident Evil 4 gets the physical copy, while people get a download voucher for Resident Evil 5 and 6. The Nintendo Switch file sizes for the latter two games haven’t been revealed, but Resident Evil 4 is a 12.1GB game. Nintendo Switch cartridges come in 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB capacities at the moment.

This isn’t the first time Capcom has done this with Resident Evil games. Resident Evil Origins Collection physical copies had Resident Evil 0 on the cartridge and a download code for Resident Evil.

Resident Evil 4 is immediately available digitally for the Nintendo Switch. Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 6, and Resident Evil Triple Pack will be released on October 29, 2019.
