Another Xbox Game Pass Final Fantasy game has been confirmed. This time, it’s a classic that only just came to the Xbox One in February 2019: Final Fantasy IX. Zidane and Garnet’s adventure will join the Xbox One library on May 14, 2020, as confirmed by the latest Xbox Wire reveals. It is “coming soon” to the PC version.

Prior to that, a few other big names will be showing up on Xbox Game Pass for the Xbox One. May 7, 2020 will mark the debut of both Red Dead Redemption 2 and DayZ. The former’s launch was actually originally brought up back at the end of April 2020. The other addition confirmed for this month is Fractured Minds on May 19, 2020. As for the PC version, Halo Master Chief Collection: Halo 2 and Endless Legend will also show up “soon.”

A few other games had something of an Xbox Game Pass shadowdrop since the Red Dead Redemption 2 announcement. Streets of Rage 4 and Moving Out are both available, with the former being a 2D beat’em up and long-awaited successor and the latter an indie, physics-based moving party game.

Final Fantasy IX is in good company. The other Xbox Game Pass Final Fantasy title is Final Fantasy XV. It joined the service back on February 6, 2020. As confirmed back at X019 in November 2019, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy X-X-2 Remaster, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, and others will also show up on the service.

The Final Fantasy IX Xbox Game Pass debut is set for May 14, 2020.
