A little bit of prep work has begin for the new Tekken 7 character. Bandai Namco has updated its European website for the game. The characters section now has a slot reserved for its 50th DLC fighter. However, this new profile doesn’t give any of its secrets away. [Thanks, Resetera!]
The 50th character slot is labeled as N/A. A generic shadow represents them. (It has a masculine look to it, but that doesn’t mean another man will be joining the cast.) Its description states, “Nothing at all is known about this mysterious fighter.” It also suggests people join the official Bandai Namco newsletter.
The last round of new Tekken 7 characters all joined in the last few months with Season Pass 3. That kicked off with Zafina, who joined the series in Tekken 6, and Ganryu, who has been a part of the series since Tekken debuted in 1994. They were followed by two entirely new characters, Leroy Smith and Fahkumram. In fact, Fahkumram only just showed up in the game at the very end of last month on March 24, 2020.
So far, Bandai Namco has not made any official announcements about new Tekken 7 characters and the roster stands at 49 people.
Tekken 7 is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
