The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Quality of Life Changes Highlighted

There’s a new The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD trailer out, and it looks at all of the quality of life changes in the remaster. For example, people might find Fi a little less insistant, and you also will be able to skip through cutscenes. This is in addition to already confirmed things, like the Zelda & Loftwing amiibo letting people fast travel.

The video goes over each new element in time. Things begin with Fi’s assistance being optional. You can then choose if you want advice and hints. There are new control scheme options, for people who prefer motion controls or button-only ones. There is a higher frame rate. You can fast forward through dialogue. Cutscenes can be skipped. You also won’t always be told what every item does.

Here’s the full The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD quality of life trailer. It rather swiftly summarizes things over the course of a minute and a half.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD will come to the Nintendo Switch on July 16, 2021. A Zelda & Loftwing amiibo and set of Joy-cons will also be available. The original The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword appeared on the Wii, and people could purchase it digitally on the Wii U.
