A The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia digital debut is on the way. On April 14, 2020, the compendium will launch on Amazon, Apple Books, and Google Play. It will cost $19.99, $20 less than the $39.99 physical release. [Thanks, Reddit!]

The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia is a 280 page look at the games by Eiji Aonuma and Akira Himekawa. It is especially notable for containing a full history of the series. However, it also has concept art from multiple installments in the series and a The Legend of Zelda manga within it. It originally launched in Japan in 2011, before getting an English release courtesy of Dark Horse Comics in 2013.

This Hyrule Historia digital release means that all three of the informative Dark Horse installments going into all of The Legend of Zelda details will be available both digitally and physically. The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts has been available digitally and physically since February 2017, followed by The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia in June 2018. In addition, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild—Creating a Champion collection that looks at the latest installment is also available in both formats.

The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia digital version will be available via multiple storefronts on April 14, 2020.
