The Latest Asuna Nendoroid Pulls From Her Sword Art Online Alicization Appearance

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Another Asuna Nendoroid is on the way from Good Smile Company. This time, the figure depicts the heroine as Stacia, the Goddess of Creation from Sword Art Online Alicization: War of Underworld. She will launch in November 2020, but preorders for the $47.99 figure are now open through the official storefront.

This version of Asuna comes with all of the expected accessories. She has three different face plates. One is neutral, another is blushing and smiling, and the third is shouting in anger. Her Radiant Light sword, with scabbard, is included. There are also Mother’s Rosario skill effect parts. (And, in case you were curious, there was an Elite Disciple version of Kirito released back in October 2019 that you can display along with her.)

It probably won’t surprise people to know that this isn’t the first Asuna Nendoroid. The original one was based on her default appearance from Sword Art Online and received runs in March and December 2013. The 2018 Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale version included a little Yui. There was even a Titania Ver. that depicted her as a fairy in a cage.

As for the Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris game, that was delayed last month as a result of the pandemic. Due to various factors, its release date was pushed back from May 22, 2020 to July 10, 2020.

This next Asuna Nendoroid will grace us with her presence in November 2020.
