It’s been quite some time since a proper Nintendo Direct appeared. The last one to show up in March 2023 focused entirely on the Super Mario Bros Movie. We haven’t seen a “real” one since February 2023. During that showcase, Nintendo announced release dates for Pikmin 4, Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, and the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC volume 3 add-on. We also saw reveals for third-party games like Ghost Trick, Decapolice, Fashion Dreamer, and Samba de Amigo: Party Central.
4We actually don’t know what’s on horizon for Nintendo proper following Pikmin 4‘s July 21, 2023 debut, so this could be a chance to see what the company has planned for the rest of 2023.
The next Nintendo Direct will be held on June 21, 2023 at 7am PT/10am ET/ 4pm CEST.
