The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya Will Arrive in November 2020

A new Haruhi Suzumiya light novel has been announced. This time, it’s a collection of stories about the heroine and SOS Brigade. The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya, known officially as Suzumiya Haruhi no Chokkan, will appear in Japan on November 25, 2020. [Thanks, Dengeki Online!]

We also know what will be in The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya. First, it will include “Random Numbers,” (“Atezuppo Numbers”), which appeared in Noizi Itou’s Haruhi Hyakka art book back in 2013. It also have the 2018 The Sneaker Legend issue’s “Seven Wonders Overtime” (“Nana Fushigi Overtime”) will be in there.

There will be one new story there. It is called “Tsuruya’s Challenge” ("Tsuruya-san no Chosen"). As a reminder, Tsuruya is considered an honorary member of the SOS Brigade and is Mikuru’s best friend. She debuted in the third volume of the series, The Boredom of Haruhi Suzumiya, in the short story about the SOS Brigade playing baseball.

This will be the twelfth Haruhi Suzumiya light novel. The second half of The Surprise of Haruhi Suzumiya appeared in Japan in 2011. The English versions were handled by Yen Press.

The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya will launch in Japan on November 25, 2020. A new Twitter account has also opened for the series. An English release for the final volume hasn’t been announced yet.
