The Gundam Base Mobile USA Tour Appears in Las Vegas

Bandai is launching The Gundam Base Mobile USA Tour with its first stop in Las Vegas. It held a pre-opening at Hilton Grand Vacation Elara on November 15, 2023. For the grand opening on November 16, 2023, the company is also setting up booths at The Park Vegas in front of the T-Mobile Arena. Both venues will remain open until November 19, 2023.

The event features various contents, including a collaboration with the Formula 1 team Scuderia AlphaTauri. The venue will also have limited-edition Gunpla kits, such as the 1/144 High Grade Destiny Gundam with clear parts, a 1/144 Real Grade Hi-Nu Gundam with titanium finish, and a neon blue 1/100 Master Grade Gundam Barbatos. Bandai will also set up demos of Gundam video games in the venues.

The Gundam Base is Bandai’s store chain that primarily sells Gunpla model kits from the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise. Its main store is located at the Diver City Plaza in Tokyo, Japan, which also hosts a transformable life-sized statue of the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam. Other than Japan, the chain also has branches in Korea, China, Taiwan, and Thailand. A temporary branch also appears at Gundam Factory Yokohama, which will remain open until March 31, 2024.

The Gundam Base Mobile USA Tour is ongoing in Las Vegas, Nevada until November 19, 2023. The tour will also make a stop in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 5-7, 2024.
