The Genshin Impact Albedo Banner Doesn’t Include Any New 4-Stars

miHoYo revealed the Genshin Impact Albedo banner’s characters, and many of them will look quite familiar! This time around, all the four-stars are people already available in the game. There aren’t any new folks joining the cast just yet. (Sorry to anyone waiting for Rosaria!) But on the plus side, Secretum Secretorum features popular staples like Bennett and Fischl starting December 23, 2020.

As mentioned before, Albedo is a five-star Geo unit. He uses swords, just like the Traveler. (He’s also already appeared in his first character trailer.) Joining him in this banner is the four-star Anemo catalyst user Sucrose. Which makes sense, since she works with him in Mondstadt. The other two people on the banner are Bennett, a four-star Pyro sword-wielder beloved for his healing Elemental Burst Fantastic Voyage, and Fischl, the four-star Electro archer whose buddy Oz is quite handy for triggering elemental reactions. Bennett was previously available in Paimon’s Bargains for Masterless Starglitter in November 2020, and Fischl was given away for free as part of a November 2020 event.

miHoYo introduced the new weapon banner too. The next Epitome Evocation will run at the same time as the Albedo banner and include the following weapons as its focus items.

  • Four-star Favonius Greatsword
  • Four-star Favonius Lance
  • Four-star Favonius Sword
  • Four-star Sacrificial Fragments Catalyst
  • Four-star The Stringless
  • Five-star Skyward Atlas Catalyst
  • Five-star Summit Shaper Sword

The Genshin Impact Albedo banner will be available until January 12, 2021. After that, we’ll see a banner with Ganyu as the featured five-star. Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PC, and both Android and Apple iOS devices. The Nintendo Switch version is in development.
