Gadot is best known for her role as Wonder Woman. She played her in Wonder Woman and Justice League. She also appeared in the Fast & Furious series as Gisele Yashar. Larson most recently was Captain Marvel in Captain Marvel and Avengers Endgame. She also was Envy in the movie adaptation of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. As for Baker, he’s a video game staple who has appeared as characters like Batman’s Bruce Wayne, The Last of Us’ Joel, Catherine’s Vincent, Final Fantasy’s Snow Villiers, Higgs in Death Stranding, and Kanji Tatsumi’s original voice actor in Persona 4. (Matt Mercer later replaced him in the role.)

The Swedish Chef is here to continue the recent tradition of The Muppets characters showing up at The Game Awards for the past few years. In 2018, Pepe appeared to present Best Indie Game. In 2019, Bunsen and Beaker were the Games for Impact presenters. (A goose puppet joined them.)

The Game Awards will be held December 10, 2020. Voting is open for the nominees, which include games like Final Fantasy VII Remake, Persona 5 Royal, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Genshin Impact. Player’s Voice voting is open too, and entered its second round on December 4, 2020. That will head into round three on December 6, 2020.
