The Full List of All Fae Farm Crops

Fae Farm doesn’t handle all of its crops in the way most farming games do. You start with some standard crop seeds that work year-round, then need to build on that with special fertilizer and a station that lets you craft crop seeds. But to help you figure out what you can grow and how to get them, here’s a full list of all the Fae Farm crops.

Here are all the crops in Fae Farm

First, here’s the list of standard crops you can buy directly from someone like Holly in Fae Farm. All of them grow year round.

  • Turnips: Available immediately.
  • Cauliflower: Available immediately.
  • Beans: Available immediately.
  • Potatoes: Available at Farming Level 10.
  • Corn: Available at Farming Level 15.
  • Peppers: Available at Farming Level 20.

There are also seasonal crops. However, to get those you will either need the specific season soil bed (like spring soil or winter soil) or the Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer. (Holly sells the fertilizer.) The Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer applied to one of the standard seed types listed above will transform it to the crop at that “tier” for that season in the standard or hydro soil type beds. The seasonal soil bed will change it to that season’s type.

Next, here’s the list of seasonal crops, as well as what type of standard seed can transform into it with the Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer or correct kind of soil:

  • Acorn Squash: Beans in winter with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Artichoke: Cauliflower in summer with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Asparagus: Cauliflower in spring with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Beet: Turnip in autumn with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Broccoli: Cauliflower in winter with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Carrot: Turnip in summer with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Chili Pepper: Peppers in winter with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Cucumber: Peppers in spring with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Eggplant: Beans in summer with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Fennel: Turnip in winter with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Garlic: Potato in autumn with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Jewel Yam: Potato in winter with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Leek: Potato in spring with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Oats: Corn in autumn with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Onion: Potato in summer with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Pumpkin: Beans in autumn with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Radish: Turnip in spring with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Red Cabbage: Cauliflower in autumn with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Rice: Corn in spring with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Rye: Corn in winter with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Sugar Peas: Beans in spring with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Tomatillo: Peppers in autumn with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Tomato: Peppers in summer with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.
  • Wheat: Corn in summer with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer.

Finally, there are the fae versions of crops. These crops can grow from standard seeds when they’re planted at the Fae Acres farm or on any other farm with Magic Crop Swap Fertilizer applied to them. There is only one fae form for each kind of standard crop, regardless of season.

What about fruit trees? Can you make an orchard in Fae Farm?

Yes, you can set up your own orchard. There aren’t that many different kinds of saplings that provide fruit in Fae Farm, however. There’s basically one type for each season. When the game begins in Spring, you can start growing peach trees. Summer is the season when pears will appear on fully grown pear trees. You get apples in the fall. In winter, any plum trees you planted will bear fruit.

You’ll need to buy saplings from Willow in Azoria to plant them on your farm. Also, these aren’t planted like typical crops. You’ll actually need to head into the “build” menu on your farm to place them, rather than set up soil beds as you would for regular seeds.

Fae Farm is available for the Nintendo Switch and PC.
