Summoning up the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo on your PlayStation 4 does two things. The first is it gives people immediate access to a trial of the game that we’ve known about since December 2019. However, it also gives people a free Final Fantasy VII Remake PS4 theme. Now, Square Enix Japan has shown what that looks like. [Thanks, Twinfinite!]

This Final Fantasy VII Remake PS4 theme features the main party from this first part of the game. From left to right, Red XIII, Aerith, Cloud, Barret, and Tifa appear. Square Enix didn’t note if this will be a dynamic or static theme. It only confirmed that this will be released on April 10, 2020, and people must get the demo from the PlayStation Store by May 11, 2020 to get it.

It also might look a little familiar. That’s because this Final Fantasy VII Remake PS4 theme is based on a piece of key art. Back on February 7, 2020, this exact image was shared on Twitter.

This means it will be the second Final Fantasy VII Remake PS4 theme based on official art for the game. The Butterfinger promotion will give people a Tifa PlayStation 4 theme based on her key art where she sits atop a Nibelheim water tower. (That image is actually based on official art from the original Final Fantasy VII.)

Final Fantasy VII Remake will come to the PlayStation 4 on April 10, 2020. The demo is immediately available worldwide, and grabbing it before May 10, 2020 means you’ll get the free PS4 theme showing the cast of the game.
