Netflix assigned The Cuphead Show a release date. The new animated series will begin airing on the streaming service on February 18, 2022. The company first announced it back in July 2019. There’s also a new trailer showing off scenes from the series.
The Cuphead Show trailer begins with Cuphead convincing Mugman they need “adventure” and taking him to the Carnevil. It then shows off the slapstick nature of the series. The Devil and King Dice both show up in the video. (It seems they’ll reprise their antagonist roles.) While Cuphead and Mugman show up as the stars throughout, Ms. Chalice appears too. She appears with them in a city and says that “You two are nothin’ but trouble.”
As a reminder, Tru Valentino is Cuphead, while Frank Todaro is Mugman.
This means show will appear ahead of the expansion. The Delicious Last Course DLC will come to Cuphead on June 30, 2022. That’s the update that adds a whole new adventure and island for Cuphead and Mugman. It’s also how people will meet, and then get to play as, Ms. Chalice.
The Cuphead Show will be added to Netflix on February 18, 2022. Cuphead is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Tesla cars.
