No Bourne movies are coming out this summer. The only media release involving rogue government agent is Robert Ludlum’s: The Bourne Conspiracy, which comes out on the PS3/Xbox 360 on June 3. Instead of rehashing the movie trilogy, Sierra opted for an all new storyline. Tony Gilroy, the screenwriter for the Bourne series, and Ludlum Entertainment assisted with the plot, which delves into Bourne’s background.
So, what do you do in the Bourne Conspiracy? Shoot people, punch things and drive a Mini Cooper around Paris. Standard, modern day, trained assassin tasks transferred on consoles. OK, we’re light on gameplay details, but this is the only project High Moon Studios (the developers of Darkwatch) has been working on in the past few years. Between High Moon Studio’s 2005 vampire FPS and now they must have thought of something to separate Robert Ludlum’s: The Bourne Conspiracy from other first person shooters. The answer probably has nothing to do with werewolves even though other heroes are cursed with lycanthropy.
