It’s always incredible to see what people are able to work with when developers offer customization tools in games. No matter what the limits are, we get to see players accomplish great feats. In the case of Armored Core 6, the Image Editor allows us to design emblems, and within the first 24 hours there are already the beginnings of amazing anime inspired designs. Not to mention, in some cases share them if the artists are willing to part with their unique piece and identifier.
Some of the works we’re seeing are more subtle, but perfectly accurate, nods to series. These would work perfectly on an Armored Core, given the atmosphere and actions we’re taking. If you want to fight under the banner of the White Unicorn, well, one example is Wizardsrequiem’s Amuro Ray (X32RSCXV1GZN). Likewise, you can go into battle knowing “God’s in his heaven, all’s right with the world” with the NERV logo from Ookami-95. That artist actually created versions both with and without the slogans, should someone want that extra touch. (With the slogan is RTRZ9MWATAU5, while without is MQ0781Z7Y6YQ.) Though my personal favorite so far is PatRaz’s YoRHa logo (BK24UYESC52C), especially now that I’ve gone through NieR: Automata Ver1.1a.
But I think what’s really amazing and seeing what people are able to accomplish when actually recreating characters in their emblems. Armored Core 6 hasn’t even been out for a full day as I write this, and the anime emblems showing up are astonishing. For example, XxMikazuki167xX’s Fate/ Saber (GJSVGX5TCCYT) stunned me once I saw it.

These are people spending hours working on projects. While the Saber above was a two hour project, Goonseb noted that six hours went into creating a Chopper One Piece Armored Core 6 anime emblem.

Sheepwife1’s Konosuba emblem is also quite astonishing. This is due to the level of detail. Megumin’s eyepatch, staff, hat, dress, and even stitching on the hat and its buttons are all spot-on.
Also, given the Tsukihime game is finally releasing worldwide with the remake, references to it in Armored Core feel just as sweet. TacoBoi436’s Neko-Arc (N007QKQ03ENT) is also a testament to the artist’s ability to work with FromSoftware provided.
There’s even a Makima from Chainsaw Man already by JoeDrawsArt.
It all feels like a testament to not only what creative people can accomplish, but the freedom Bandai Namco offers Armored Core 6 owners. The Image Editor has its restrictions, but people are working around them to create these phenomenal pieces of art. Even better, they’re easily recognizable enough that others can see and savor them as well. Knowing the time, effort, and hurdles these people are going through to make these pieces makes it all the more incredible.
Armored Core 6 is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
