The Alliance Alive is a SaGa sort of RPG where players follow nine playable characters from different backgrounds all coming together to unite people and lands separated by Daemons and a Dark Current that keeps the world divided. Like SaGa, your characters’ stats and specialties are influenced by their actions in battle and the way you invest in their talents, so anyone could have multiple roles available to them in the story.

The Alliance Alive originally appeared on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan in 2017 before being localized. Then, in 2019, The Alliance Alive HD Remastered appeared on the Nintendo Switch and PS4 in 2019, putting everything on a single screen and offering HD upgrades. The PC version showed up in January 2020 on Steam. (It’s currently $19.99 until January 5, 2021, as part of the Steam Winter Sale.)
