The $37 Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia Fran Costume Takes Her Back to Her Roots

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia gives many iconic characters who never actually appeared in a Dissidia fighting game a chance to be featured, and people never have to pay to acquire any of the new potential party members. But when it comes to the outfits, that’s when Square Enix pulls out the expensive bundles and alternate looks. Now that the Girded for Freedom questline has been added permanently as a Lost Chapter and given people a chance to always add the Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia version of Fran as a party member, the game is celebrating with a $36.99 Elegant Wardrobe Chest that shows what she might have looked like before she left her village.

In Final Fantasy XII, Fran left Eruyt Village to travel alongside Balthier on the Strahl. This means she essentially abandoned her homeland in the name of freedom. However, with the Elegant Wardrobe Chest, people can pay real cash to see what Fran would have looked like when she lived in Eruyt. In addition to 9,000 gems, which is almost enough to take part in two 10+1 Multi Draw banner pulls, you get Fran’s Extra Costume.

The Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia Fran Extra Costume will be available in its bundle until May 4, 2020. It is designed to resemble the generic outfits viera might wear in Final Fantasy XII, though it also is quite similar to the fellow Ivalice-set Final Fantasy Tactics Advance viera outfits as well.

Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. Previous $37 costumes include one for shirtless Sephiroth back in January 2020.
