Given the early stages of the project, details about the sequel are slim. For example, we don’t even know which systems it will appear on. However, it will have he same approach both in style and gameplay, with “magnetic physics” mentioned. It will take people to the Wyrmheim, which will be filled with Norwegian elements.

Some of the initial Teslagrad 2 concept art was shared alongside the announcement. The images suggest the 2D artistic direction will return and that electricity will play a prominent role in th egame. For example, the initial teaser image features an elk or moose-like creature with electrical currents coming off of it, another character in a dress using an electrical charge to zip up a waterfall to another platform, and a regal-looking woman in a mask with electrical abilities and an otherworldly transformation.

Here are all the initial images Rain Games shared.

Teslagrad 2 is in development for as-yet unnamed platforms. The original Teslagrad can be found on the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Wii U, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, PC, and both Android and Apple iOS devices.
