Cygames announced an upcoming collaboration in Granblue Fantasy with Tensura, or That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. The event will start from November 15, 2024.

Information for this first came out during the Granblue Fantasy livestream on July 27, 2024. In the announcement Tweet, Cygames also showed off how Rimuru, the protagonist of Tensura, will look like in the Granblue Fantasy art style. It shows them in their human form, with Ranga behind them. Rimuru and one more character, as well as a summon, will be free.

Cygames has not revealed the other characters or the summon that you’ll be able to get as part of this collaboration. As a note, two characters (with Rimuru as one of them) will be free, along with a summon. Two other ones will be gacha-exclusive rather than being attainable through clearing event missions. This is so that Cygames could include more collaboration characters in one event, which is something they couldn’t do in the past. It notes that the author for Tensura agreed to Cygames doing things a bit differently for the Granblue Fantasy event, so Cygames may do this again in the future.

As a note, because Cygames plans to dedicate a gacha to the Tensura collaboration, there will be an adjusted gacha schedule for the normal banners.

Granblue Fantasy is readily available on Internet browsers and mobile devices. The Tensura collaboration event will start in Granblue Fantasy from November 15, 2024, with more details to come later.
