We now have a Steam Early Access Temtem release date. While initially we only knew it would appear in the first quarter of 2019, that has now been narrowed down to January 21, 2020. [Thanks, IGN!]
The early access version of Temtem will not provide access to the full game. It will only cover three islands and have 76 possible Temtem. The full game will have six islands. Crema hasn’t revealed how many monsters will be available to catch and raise in the full version of the game. The expected playtime for this version of the game is around 20 hours.
Ahead of the Temtem early access launch, a stress test will be held. People can sign up for it by offering up their email at the official site.
Temtem’s journey began on Kickstarter. The project launched back on May 29, 2018, and it was fully funded by June 3, 2018. When it ended, 11,716 backers had raised $573,939 to support it.
Temtem will come to the PC via Early Access on January 21, 2020. Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions are also in development.
