Tears of the Kingdom Soundtrack Released in Japan

Nippon Columbia has released the original soundtrack for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in Japan. This extensive 9-CD set includes a total of 344 tracks, featuring the game’s background music and sound effects. The release offers both a standard edition and a limited first edition.

The standard edition provides all 344 tracks spread across the 9 CDs, capturing the game’s rich and immersive audio experience. The limited first edition offers additional exclusive content, including a Master Sword-shaped USB drive containing 15 high-resolution tracks.

This soundtrack release follows The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom winning multiple prestigious awards at the Famitsu Dengeki Game Awards 2023, including Game of the Year and Best Action-Adventure Game. The development team also won the MVC award for best game developer or studio. 

In related news, a line of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom men’s t-shirts was released at Uniqlo stores in Japan on April 26, 2024. These shirts feature characters and motifs from the game and are available both online and in physical stores.

The soundtrack is available to purchase via the Nintendo Japan store. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is currently available for the Nintendo Switch.
