Tasomachi: Behind the Twilight has a release date. People will be able to explore an intricate city and help cat people with quests on April 14, 2021.
In Tasomachi, players follow a young woman named Yukumo. After her airship crashes at To-en, she finds a number of Nezu Tribe members in need of assistance. By helping them out, she can fix and decorate her ship (and herself). You’ll also eventually be able to visit new areas of the city as you recover, which means more areas to explore and items to collect.
Here’s the Tasomachi release date trailer. In addition to confirming its launch, it also shows off Yukumo as she runs around To-en.
As a reminder, two people involved in Tasomachi’s creation might sound familiar, as both have been involved in larger games. nocras worked on Pokemon Sword and Shield’s maps, did 3D designs for both FFXIII-2 and FFXIV, and concept art for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Keitaro “Ujico*” Ujiie, whose music appeared in games like Beatmania IIDX, created its soundtrack.
Tasomachi: Behind the Twilight will release on PCs via GOG and Steam on April 14, 2021. It will be playable in English, Japanese, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
