Namco Bandai rolled out a few more details about the fighting system in Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butouden. The Nintendo DS game has a button barrage combat system and uses the microphone for special attacks.

Seriously. One of the features of the game lets players shout super move names. So, how do you play Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butouden on a train where talking loudly is taboo? With the touch screen. You can pick special moves and the power level on the bottom screen.

 

Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butouden doesn’t appear to have a block command. Stand still and you automatically block weak attacks. Move towards an energy blast and you’ll deflect it.

 

The 3D fighting game comes out on February 3, 2011 in Japan. First print copies include a Dragon Ball Heroes trading card as a bonus.
