Here is a translation of what Hayami said about her role as Tao in SMT V: Vengeance:

“I’m very happy that I was able to read for Tao again! I adjusted the way I performed her lines the closer it was to the end of the story and put a lot of thought in my recording. Aside from this game, I recorded 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim fairly recently and the drama CD for Persona 3 Portable was even earlier I really enjoyed recording for all these Atlus works, which have an established worldview and charm. When I got my role in Shin Megami Tensei V, a lot of people congratulated me, which made me happy, and it made me realize just how much people loved this game.

Soon, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance will come out! I hope everyone—people who played the previous title, as well as those who will start from this one—will enjoy it.”

Hayami is a singer and voice actress who debuted in 2007. Her other roles include Shinobu in Demon Slayer, Ayaka in Genshin Impact, and Yumeko in Kakegurui. Aside from Hayami, other voice actors who left a comment for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance include Lynn.

SMT V: Vengeance will come out on June 14, 2024 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC.
