It looked like Bandai Namco inadvertently revealed the release date of Tales of Zestiria last week, and it appears to be true, as it was announced in latest issue of Jump magazine as January 22, 2015. [Thanks, ANN.]

The magazine report also shows a new character by the name Rose, designed by Kousuke Fujishima, as the latest character to be added to the cast with Sorey and friends. She’s said to be a cheerful and lively girl, who sets the mood of the group.

According to additional information provided by Game Jouhou, Rose wields dual-blades, and she seems to be able to see those from the Heavenly Tribe.

Pre-orders for the game in Japan will include one out of four “premium rubber straps” of characters from Sorey, Alisha, Mikelo, and Edna. Pre-orders will also have product codes to downloads exclusive Mystic Artes for Alisha, Mikelo, and Lailah as well.

Tales of Zestiria will release in Japan for PlayStation 3 on January 22, 2015.
