The new art features new drawings of Sophie Neuenmuller by NOCO, Plachta by Yuugen, Ao Hoshizaki by Mel Kishida, and Shionne by Minoru Iwamoto. The four illustrators also held a joint interview session with several Japanese media outlets. However, Mel Kishida attended the interview remotely because he had just recovered from an illness.

Bandai Namco and Gust will also create crossover costumes for both Tales of Arise and Atelier Sophie 2. The new outfits will appear at the Japanese Atelier Sophie 2 pre-launch live stream on February 22, 2022, at 21:00 JST (7 AM ET). Koei Tecmo previously announced the crossover content in November 2021. It then confirmed that this crossover will go both ways, with Tales of Arise also set to receive Gust-themed costumes as free DLC.

Tales of Arise and Blue Reflection: Second Light are both available immediately on PlayStation 4 and PC. The new Blue Reflection game is also playable on the Switch, while Tales of Arise is available on the PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Koei Tecmo and Gust will release Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream for PS4, Switch, and PC worldwide on February 25, 2022.
