Bandai Namco announced Tales of Crestoria will be shutting down on February 7, 2022. Leading up to end of service, all Gleamstone purchases have been suspended. However, all currently obtained Gleamstones, and items, can be used until Tales of Crestoria‘s end of service. This means players won’t see planned adjustments, though its original cast members could show up again someday.
The developers released a statement through the official website. It reveals that planned updates for Tales of Crestoria will more than likely not make it into the game before it will be shutting down. This includes adjustments to the A.I. for the auto mode, among other changes.
However, the developers reveal that this will potentially not be the last time players will see the main cast of the mobile title. Since they are considered main characters of the Tales of series, they will more than likely appear through cross over-events. However, these potential cross-over events have not been announced.
Bandai Namco celebrated the first anniversary of Tales of Crestoria in July 2021. Tales of Crestoria released worldwide on July 18, 2021. It featured turn-based combat, and fully 3D models. The story focused on several main characters, that were available to obtain through story progression. Additionally, collaboration events added in main characters from other Tales of titles to the roster.
Tales of Crestoria is immediately available for Android and iOS devices, and it will end service on February 7, 2021.
