Shortly after Bandai Namco announced Tales of Crestoria would be shut down, Kumagai announced that the narrative would see its conclusion through another medium. Previously, Bandai Namco released a short animated video, which briefly went through the beginning of the game. It specifically covered how Kanata, Vicious, and Miscella met.

Tales of Crestoria celebrated its first anniversary in July 2021. The game held several celebration campaigns to commemorate the occasion. However, in early December 2021, Bandai Namco announced the game would end service in February 2022. In addition, a statement from the development team revealed that several changes that were planned to appear in the game would not make into the mobile title before its closure.

Tales of Crestoria is immediately available for Android and iOS devices, and it will end service on February 7, 2022. The Tales of Crestoria manga is in development.
