Tales of Arise Cooking Video Walks You Through Making a Meal

Bandai Namco shared a new Tales of Arise video, and this time it focuses on cooking. The latest explanation goes over how a meal gets from the wilds of Dana to a plate. Which means people once again get a chance to see what itā€™s like being at a camp in the game.

The video begins by looking at how you get the items you need to prepare food in Tales of Arise. Different ingredients can be obtained from your personal farm, fishing with Kisara, and gathering. Once you have the items, youā€™ll then be able to take part in cooking in Tales of Arise. This can happen both at a camp or at an inn in a town.

When you head into the Tales of Arise cooking menu, youā€™ll see all of the recipes available. These will tell you the ingredients needed, show a picture of the dish, describe what it is, mention the cooking effect, and state if it is someoneā€™s favorite meal. (If someone does like it, there will be an additional cooking effect.) You then chose who will make it. After a brief animation, the food will be done and youā€™ll see exactly how long its effects will last.

This isnā€™t the first time we got a better look at how things work at a camp in the game. Some older Japanese videos showed off cooking, fishing, and skits too.

Tales of Arise will come to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC on September 9, 2021 in Japan and on September 10, 2021 worldwide. The demo will arrive August 18, 2021.
