Tales of Berseria’s Velvet Appears In The Tales of Zestiria Anime Opening

The Tales of Zestiria – the X anime just recently began airing in Japan and, in the show’s opening sequence, an unexpected character can be seen making an appearance. [Thanks, Dual Shockers.]

Velvet, the main character from the upcoming Tales of Berseria, appears in the opening early on and also towards its end. Though both Tales of Zestiria and Tales of Berseria take place in the same world, this is notable since the latter takes place in the distant past, raising questions as to why Velvet would appear given the varying timeframes.
