We previously reported that Tales of Berseria will include a special chat with its characters as part of the game’s first-print bonus in Japan, and Bandai Namco’s new video gives us a peek at what to expect.
The video starts out with a short introduction from Bienf. As it turns out, the Tales of Berseria cast weren’t aware that they were having a special talk session, titled the “Special Dramatic Chat: Melon Gumi Volume.” As the crew wonder if they’re able to pull it off, Bienfu exclaims that it’s not a matter of whether they can or can’t do it, but a matter of how they will do it.
Rokurou, Eizen, and Laphicet seem to have no problem with that but Magilou asks why Bienfu is the one being high and mighty with the introduction and everything, to which he says that he’s probably the best character to do that. He feels that it should’ve been Velvet to start out with the greeting. Eleanor also agrees, saying that Velvet is the first solo female protagonist of the Tales of series. Rokurou and Eizen also butt in saying the same, but Laphicet adds that he’ll help out so it’ll be OK.
Velvet thanks the fans for pre-ordering Tales of Berseria and Laphicet says that they’ve prepared a special chat for the fans, which he hopes you all will get to enjoy.
Tales of Berseria will release in Japan on August 18 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The game is headed Westward in early 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PC.
