However, there are some stipulations as to who will be able to participate in this new Monster Hunter Rise Event Quest. Players must be at least Hunter Rank 8 in order to take on the quest. Obtaining Hunter Rank 8 requires some progression but can easily be obtained. Players will receive a total of ten titles upon the competition of the new Event Quest.

Previous Monster Hunter Rise Event Quests have yielded other rewards to players. This includes cosmetic items like glasses and leather pants. Other rewards have been stickers and additional titles. However, Monster Hunter Rise does feature other optional content that can be purchased as DLC. This includes new hairstyles, clothing options, and layered armor for the Palamute and Palico. Monster Hunter Rise Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto shared why the title has pivoted towards more paid DLC in an interview.

Monster Hunter Rise is immediately available for the Nintendo Switch.
