Like Etrian Odyssey Untold, Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold includes a “Classic Mode” that takes the series’ traditional route of character customization and dungeon-crawling over story-telling. This afternoon, Atlus USA shared a new trailer for this mode.

In Classic Mode, you’ll have full customization control of your party, and you’ll also be able to customize characters using Grimoire Stones, which let any character class use the skills of another class. In addition, the background music in Classic mode uses the original Nintendo DS music, although a new orchestral score can be selected from the options menu at any time as well.

Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight will be released in North America this Summer. In Europe, the game will be published by NIS America in 2016.
