Konami has been gradually bringing classic Castlevania games to more recent platforms with the releases of Castlevania Advance Collection in 2021 and Castlevania Dominus Collection in 2024. However, the Takarazuka Revue noted that this musical show will have an original story that is not directly related to any of those titles.

Sea Towaki and Misaki Hoshizora will be starring actresses in the show. However, the Castlevania musical will not be the only show in the overall Hanagumi group performance program. Takarazuka Revue will pair it with an original romantic revue titled “Ai, Love Revue!”

The revue will stage the performances at two different locations. The first one will take place at the Takarazuka Grand Theater in the revue’s origin city of Takarazuka in the Hyogo prefecture from June 7 until July 20, 2025. The revue will then head to the Tokyo Takarazuka Theater in Yurakucho to do the same performances from August 16 until September 28, 2025. Sales for the tickets will begin on May 17, 2025, for the Takarazuka home venue and July 13, 2025, for the Tokyo theater.

The Castlevania: Awakening in the Moonlight musical show by the Takarazuka Revue will debut on June 7, 2025.
