Taisho x Alice is an otome visual novel series where the player, Arisu, gets to romance male versions of iconic fairy tale heroines. Taisho x Alice Episode 2’s two bachelors are Gretel and Kaguya.

It’s also known for tapping into some serious star power for its voice actors. Gretel is played by Takuya Eguchi, who’s also Vane in Granblue Fantasy, Taiyou Amemiya in Inazuma Eleven GO, Green in Pokemon Origins, Kyoya Mitsurugi in KonoSuba, and Izayoi Sonosuke in Danganronpa V3. Toshiki Masuda is the voice of Kaguya. He should also sound very familiar, as he is My Hero Academia’s Eijiro Kirishima, Tokyo Mirage Sessgion #FE and Fire Emblem Heroes’ Cain, and SMT IV: Apocalypse’s Hallelujah.

The Taisho x Alice series has gone through quite a bit of trouble over the years. Its English localization was announced back in 2016 by E2 Gaming. However, it was filled with issues, which resulted in a new localization and rerelease of the first episode in November 2019.

Taisho x Alice Episode 2 will appear on PCs in English on September 17, 2020. It is immediately available in Japan.
