The popular rhythm game series, Taiko no Tatsujin is headed to PlayStation Vita as Taiko: Drum Master V Version. This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine shares more details on the game. [Thanks, Hachima]

In addition to tracks from God Eater 2 and Freedom Wars, Taiko: Drum Master V Version will feature various other video game songs, in addition to songs from anime and Vocaloids, for a total of 80 tracks of the latest hits.

There’s also a new mode called “Dondaa Quest” which is basically an RPG-style mode with a bit of a fantasy taste mixed in with a rhythm game fusion. Ari Ozawa will voice the heroine named Maple.

Taiko: Drum Master V Version will release in Japan on July 9, 2015 for PlayStation Vita.
