Another tactical RPG is on the horizon. The PQube and CooCooSqueaky’s Tears of Avia release date has been revealed. People will be able to head out onto new battlefields on September 24, 2020. (We’ve known it is on the way since all the way back in 2015.)
However, make sure your storefront wallets are full, as you’ll only be able to find it through the Microsoft Store and Steam. It won’t get a physical release.
To both accompany the release date announcement and provide a better idea of what people can expect from the game, a new trailer has been released. It spends over eight and a half minutes looking at Tears of Avia. We get to see Reina running through a town and buying some new equipment, then doling it among her, Iris, Afreo, Kai, and Momoko. After that, she heads into a fight in the Southern Fields. Before you head into a fight, you can see three “stars” that can be earned by beating the battle within eight turns, only using rangers, and dealing over 20,000 damage in one turn.
In case you missed it, its last trailer appeared back in February 2020.
Tears of Avia will come to the Xbox One and PC on September 24, 2020.
