More songs have been confirmed for Taiko: Drum Master V, the first Taiko: Drum Master game for PlayStation Vita. Players will be able to drum to "Crossing Field," the opening theme song from Sword Art Online, and "Only my railgun" from A Certain Scientific Railgun. "Ideal White" from Fate/Stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, "Star!!" from Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls, "The Theory of Savage Youth" from Assassination Classroom, and "Blazing" from Gundam Reconguista in G are other anime themes in the game.
Famitsu reports Bandai Namco Games was able to get a couple of Falcom songs in Taiko: Drum Master V Version too. "To Make the End of Battle" from Ys I&II Chronicle and "Pulse to Tomorrow" from The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Flash are playable. "Let’s Contribute! The Imprisonment of Love is 1,000,000 Years" from Freedom Wars and "Blood Rage" from God Eater 2 Rage Burst come from the Vita library. Also, "Daddy Mulk" from the Ninja Warriors, an arcade classic developed by Taito is in Taiko: Drum Master V Version.
Jpop tunes in the game include Babymetal’s "Gimme Chocolate," Gesu no Kiwami Otome’s "Digital Mole," AKB48’s "The Fall In Love Fortune Cookie," and Sekai no Owari’s "RPG."
Taiko: Drum Master V Version comes out on July 9 in Japan and like the recent 3DS games it has a RPG mode too.
