Sword Art Online: Lost Song Update Will Add A New Character, Boss, And PvP Mode

During a recent NicoNico Livestream, Bandai Namco shared a little peek at what’s to come in Sword Art Online: Lost Song’s upcoming May update, featuring new characters and a PvP mode. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]

While there are still no details on how the PvP works, it’ll be included as part of the game’s online multiplayer mode. The May update will also add a new boss.

As for the new character, they didn’t reveal who exactly, but judging by the silhouette, it looks highly likely to be Hiyori Kashiwazaka, a heroine from the spinoff manga Sword Art Online: Girls Ops, and goes by the name Lux.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song will get its major update sometime in May.
