Sword Art Online: Lost Song will bring players more freedom to travel and fight while flying around in the world of ALO. The game’s latest trailer shows an example of what to expect from the upcoming action RPG title.
The video starts out with a little introduction of ALfheim Online, the VMMORPG that the upcoming game will take place in. You’ll get to freely fly around in Sword Art Online: Lost Song as you cooperate with Kirito’s friends to take on all kinds of aerial enemies.
There are also regular monsters that you’ll fight in ground battles, including plenty of dungeons to explore in ALO. The parties consist of three members, and you’ll get to pick who you’ll fight with.
So far, Bandai Namco revealed that the characters who’ll participate in the action are Kirito, Leafa, Silica, Lisbeth, Sinon, and Philia. They also recently announced Klein, along with characters who appeared in past SAO games in Strea and Argo.
While we don’t know too much about the game’s story yet, producer Yosuke Futami previously talked about why it’ll take place in ALO, and how it’ll be about Kirito and friends having fun in a non-death game, for a change.
Sword Art Online: Lost Song will release in Japan on March 26, 2015 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. It’ll also be localized in English, and Bandai Namco said to expect a better English translation, this time.
