It seems that Mii Fighter Costumes will once again be sold as DLC in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as extra content separate from the Fighter Pass. While Nintendo hasn’t highlighted the fact, the Mii Fighter Costume DLC appears under the ‘What DLC is available?’ page on Nintendo’s support page for the game. [Thanks, Resetera!]
Previously, Mii Fighter Costumes were available as DLC for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U / 3DS, and included a variety of outfits, such as Link’s outfit, Dunban’s outfit, as well as several third-party outfits, such as Akira from Virtua Fighter, Proto Man from the Mega Man series, the Rathalos Armor from Monster Hunter, and a Chocobo hat from the Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon series.
While the Mii Fighters return in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate alongside several costumes that were originally DLC, every third-party Mii Fighter Costume has been removed, suggesting that some of DLC costumes this time will be third-party as well.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available for Nintendo Switch.
